Our Method
Protection in Childhood
Direction in Adolescence
Celebration in Marriage
A variety of teaching methods are employed in order to achieve program objectives. These include: parent meeting, classroom lecture, multimedia presentation, interactive games and demonstrations, community awareness/education seminars, and small group mentoring sessions.
The two main components of our program are:
Parent meetings -
Parents are affirmed as the primary sex educators and given support and information regarding increasing communication with their adolescent. They also receive information on the program content.
Classroom instruction -
Students are fascinated by the scientific demonstrations, visual aids, games and multi-media presentations used to illustrate each principle. During classroom presentation, opportunity is provided for students to ask anonymous questions for which answers are provided based on factual information. Individual (non-professional) counseling and/or referral is provided as needed.
